Throughout the year we organise a range of events based on our campus that will complement and add value to your students' learning experience. The themes that we cover at these events vary depending on the students' age and subject of interest. All of our events aim to:

  • introduce students to school life and the range of subjects available to study

  • allow students to explore different subjects in detail working with current students and leading academics and researchers

  • provide relevant information at key decision-making times to ensure students can make informed decision about their futures

  • inform students of the kinds of skills they will need to be successful at school

  • improve student's motivation to work harder to reach their educational goals

  • increase student's confidence in their ability to apply to university

Children's Day

The teachers and children remembered Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru, our first Prime Minister, and celebrated the love that he had for all children with a host of fun-filled activities and delicious food. The Pre-Primary children arrived at school, dressed in colourful clothes and were full of excitement during the special assembly conducted in the Goodwill School. The children were completely immersed when they watched the department introduce new rhymes and songs through shadow puppetry. The children were shown a short presentation on ‘Chacha Nehru’ after which they were taken to participate in fun rides and interesting games organised by some of our enthusiastic mothers. The children were thrilled to get popcorn and candy floss from a special counter arranged for them. There was excitement in the air and the young ones were full of stories about their special day at school.
The students of Class 1 and 2, enjoyed the mini -fair with activities like games (ring the object), different rides, face painting, magic show, photo studio wherein students used different props and got their photographs clicked. The students were then treated to yummy homemade snacks, which the teachers had prepared with oodles of love.
The students of Class 3 to 5 had a lovely surprise to begin their day, as each one received personal messages from their teachers. They continued to enjoy themselves with a special class on glass painting with their art teachers. The excitement continued with a plethora of relay races such as sack race, lemon and spoon race and filling the bottle race. Their eventful day ended with students watching the movie ‘Sindbad-The Legend of Seven Seas’ while munching on popcorn and savouring the candy floss, cakes and juice amidst plenty of laughter!!!!

Welcome Day

Students entered their school with mixed feelings of excitement and fear. To give a warm welcome to all students, we organize a Welcome Day. The programme took place on 7th June 2017.
We welcomed the students with flowers whereas their classrooms were also been decorated to welcome them. We conducted certain cultural activities for the newcomers, which were put up by senior as a welcome gesture. All the children were given a rose by the teachers as they entered school premises. Photo sessoon was arranged that day.

Environmental Day

World Environment Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm by school . Students and staff participated in plantation drives to make their surrounding green. The theme resolute for the World Environment Day 2017 is 'Seven billion dreams. One planet. Consume with care.' Various activities such as planting saplings and discussion on environmental issues were held

Independence Day

Our School celebrated 70th Independence Day with great patriotic fervor, zeal and zeast.The function began with the unfurling of the National flag by the chief guest Sir Dr. Suresha.B in the Presence of Chairman, Secretary & Principal. It was followed by the singing of the National Anthem. All the parents were invited to the event. Students performed various activities.Children were dressed as national leaders.
Patriotic renditions sung by the students which charged up the atmosphere with patriotic spirit. Various exercises were exhibited to the audience.
Students of class IX & X Std also presented musical Enactment which showcased the Struggle to gain freedom and the final 'Jashan' or celebration after gaining complete independence from the British.

Kannada Rajyostava

Every year 1st November, the school celebrates Kannada Rajyotsava – Karnataka Formation Day.

The school had organized a colourful function on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava. Karnataka Flag was hosted, flowers were offered to the photo of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari Maatha. Students of different classes spoke on the importance of the day. The students put a good performance to depict the rich culture and heritage of Karnataka. All the teachers and students took active part in the programme. The message went to straight to the students that it is their duty to learn Kannada irrespective of their mother tongue.

Christmas Day Celebration

Christmas Day celebrations at Goodwill School. Students at Goodwill School celebrated the spirit of Christmas with Joy and Cheer. The festivities included Christmas carols singing and delicious holiday treats, we also had Santa Claus joined the celebrations and distributed Gifts to students.
Christmas is a time to give and forgive. Celebrated everywhere as a joyous family affair, we too, at school celebrated Christmas as a happy time for our children. A special assembly of the little children was held in the pre primary premises. “We wish you a merry Christmas…”, “Dashing through the snow…” filled the air with festivity. Little Santa too made a grand entry and gave adorable poses to click. The delight was uncontained especially as gifts were given and santa tattoos were made on their pretty faces.

Sports's Day Celebration

Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held on Saturday 16th December. The fantastic turnout from the parents and the pleasant weather were the perfect boost for the students on their very sports day at the Goodwill School. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the special guest of the day. The Chairman and Secretary also took the salute of the impressive March Past of the Goodwill School students. A peppy dance drill and an energizing exercise drill set the tone for the rest of the event. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Students of classes 1 to 5 competed class-wise in events including sprints, sack races, obstacle races and three legged races. Fun time with a shoe race and a tug- of- war between the teachers and parents added to the enjoyment. The last event, an AHA! Sports Display, showcased the skills and exercises practiced by our young sports enthusiasts every day. The day ended with our guest, congratulating the winners with medals and certificates.
